Welcome to Playmates Pet Care! Playmates Pet Care was established by myself, Paris, in 2022 to help support & build a high quality, healthy lifestyle for the pets (dogs, cats & rabbits) in Richmond & surrounding suburbs. After a career of over 10 years working for various companies within the animal industry, I felt the urge to branch off to do what I love most as an individual pet care freelancer.
I offer Dog walking (solo or small pack), Walk & train’s and In-home enrichment visits.
As a lifelong, avid animal lover, I have a genuine love and passion for providing attentive, authentic & reliable pet care. My natural affinity with animals is a gift I have had since I was little- communicating with them has always been easy due to my experience, knowledge & understanding of animal behaviour.
I form deep connections with all of the pets in my care and receive great satisfaction creating engaging & fun experiences for them.
With a focus on animal enrichment, stimulation and training, my intention is to deliver expert pet services, as I care about your pets overall health & wellbeing.
Having a career as a veterinary nurse for a number of years & working in multiple catteries, pet stores, horse stables and dog daycares- managing & assessing canine behaviour, I can assure you that your pet will be in highly experienced & capable hands.
My focus is to always provide the highest quality care, to ensure your pet has a comfortable, safe and positive experience.
To further my knowledge and skills, I have completed a Certification in Dog Psychology, Behaviour & Training, to complement the hands on experience I have had over many years- anxious & reactive dogs are my specialty. My methods have been successful with both my own dog & clients dogs.

Like us, our pets require a physical and mental workout every day to remain physically, emotionally and mentally healthy. They can also get bored/lonely, which can lead to destructive/unwanted behaviours if not provided with a healthy outlet - that’s where Playmates comes in!
Playmates Pet Care provides a relaxing, pleasurable & comforting space for your best friend whenever you’re unable too - I custom my services to suit your pet and their specific needs so they are always having a positive, exciting & engaging experience.
